New pillows
What a difference new pillows make on a sofa. Our previous pillows totally lacked color or visual interest. The new pillows (with Kelly Wearstler fabric) really pop. I just ordered 2 yards of another Wearstler fabric to make another set of pillows. Custom fabrics can be really expensive, especially for sofas, chairs or drapery. Yet they can still be incorporated into a room with dramatic results- as sofa pillows, dining room seat cushions, bed pillows, cornice boxes and even roman shades. These can be done with much less yardage- which is friendlier on the pocketbook. Below, the before and after of our family room sofa.
