Man, I really love this look worn by Rachel Bilson. Makes me happy because when I see all the pics of actresses wearing sky high heels to the grocery store I just want to gag. It’s like, really? I adore this mid century Neutra home designed by David Netto. I love everything about it, the front facade, gardening, all those gorgeous windows, the furniture, the outdoor furniture. Happy Weekend!
Yesterday was our 4th wedding anniversary. We had a beautiful day that included massages, hiking and a filling dinner at Fogo de Chao. We have plans to extend the festivities into the weekend!
I need! I need!
As my nephew says, I need, I need these clogs. They have the perfect heel- the wedge makes it comfortable to wear all day and still gives you some height. I just saw them on Rachel Bilson on whowhatwear.com and they are available through Saks. Currently these Chloe shoes are $270 but fingers crossed they’ll go on sale. By the way, Barney’s ware house sale is coming up soon!
Benches
I know x-benches have been the rage for a while now but I’m really liking this new trend of straight legged benches. I think they look a bit more modern because of the linear legs. Or maybe it’s just that the x- bench has been everywhere and I’m pretty much sick of them!

Our trip to the Venice Canals
Well the Venice Beach canals. They are one of my favorite things about Venice. Hubby and I often take the dog there for a walk. We stare at all the houses and pick which one we’d want to live in. New pillows
What a difference new pillows make on a sofa. Our previous pillows totally lacked color or visual interest. The new pillows (with Kelly Wearstler fabric) really pop. I love the cabinetry in this kitchen- the use of two colors and the bold choice to not have any upper cabinets. I think more and more we are seeing this.
